thanks form, the ones you put on there are for 50mm mediums. I assume I need the lows for a 40mm scope. I did reach out to sportsmatch, and will call AZ monday. Hopefully they will get some in soon.
I admit the dovetail concerns me. I remember using one for a 22 years ago and nothing would ever...
I cant find a old set. This search is pretty much ruining the purchase for me tho. How hard can it be to find quality rings to fit a tikka in the low 1 inch version.
Im leaning towards Talleys and confirming they are good. Not a ton of recoil with the 308. With that said the raptors do have blemished in medium height but not sure what I would need for my 3x9x40. I assume low but what do yall use? Are the raptors pretty much bombproof?
thanks guys, I dont see the um in 1 inch, and im pretty set on a trijicon accupoint. Cant get the sportsmatch, so honestly Im not sure what im gonna do now. I will go look at the mountain tactical and see bout those. Maybe I should just put a rail on and go with something else, just hate to add...
ok, tikka is bought. still trying to decide on rings. the um look great but looked like they only came in 30 mm and the trijicon is a 1 inch scope. Im still open to some ideas as Ive never owned a tikka.
Also, anyone that uses 2 piece rings, any problem with mounting a trijicon length wise? I...
thanks thinhorn, I will look at the um again, I dont mind the money, but looked like they only came in 30 mm and the trijicon is a 1 inch scope. Hopefully I looked wrong.
anybody know where I might be able to pick up a set up 1 inch low or medium sportsmatch rings for a tikka lite im buying tomorrow. I looked at the guy in az but those are on backorder and I dont know when they will get in. Our season starts in 4 weeks so Im kinda in need now. I thought about...
I like those for sure, expensive but not a deal breaker. They weigh 4.5 oz tho. Not sure what the sportsmatch weigh. I was thinking talley were like 2.6 ish

thats where im leaning, the 308 is lighter, and the 20 inch barrel has got to be nice for hunting out of blinds here. the 7prc was a better price, and more power so made me waiver a bit. but I think the 308 and keep my shots to 300 an in and I shouldnt have any issues killing anything I will...
Hey guys, Im looking at getting one of these two rifles. I love 308s and have a ton of good ammo already in house. Love the recoil, etc. But, I am somewhat concerned over the 20 inch barrel in the 308. So, Im considering the 7prc and 22 inch barrel. Now, I mainly shoot whitetails in mo at 75 yds...
yep, 1 rifle that happens to be a 308, I do have 2 shotguns but only had 1 my whole life til this last turkey season and am needing some magnification to see better otherwise would still be with 1 shotgun. as for loads yep 1 load, sorta. I use nosler ballistic tips trophy grade ammo but if I go...
Years ago I had a 100 dollar pair of binocs, thought they were fine for what I did here in mo woods. Went to shoot prairie dogs and stopped at a cabelas and looked thru a pair of 400 dollars binocs and was shocked at the difference. Then, I made the mistake of looking thru swaros. I didnt buy...
I dont have much history with anything else, but I love my nosler ballistic tips 165 for deer size stuff and accubond for elk size stuff. The ballistics on the boxes are the exact same and my rifle likes both so I dont have to move my scope around.
this is a retail business not outfitters, but has anyone bought anything from them. Im just trying to decide if its the real deal or not. they have something I want for a good price, but cant get myself to pull the trigger
Ive used both and havnt had any issues with either. my current is the freedom. with that said I dont dial, and I dont shoot much, I confirm zero before deer season and shoot a couple deer. No issues yet. Not saying the other choices posted on here arnt better options, Im gonna get a credo or...
I have a foliage MR metcalf bag, 4 days of elk hunting and never saw blood. Perfect condition. I bought a smaller bag so dont need this one anymore. 175
not that, but, i dont buy soda or anything else carbonated and bring it out with me. not sure it was the altitude but ive seen several of those explode
