All,
Thanks for reading and the encouraging comments.
Bighorse,
It kind of depends on how full the bag is. If you are butt sliding with a pretty full bag then I would expect the bottom of the bag of the Paradox to receive wear in much the same way as many other packs. I'm not privy to the...
I used a paradox evolution, 6300 ci bag and day talon extensively last year and was real happy with the way it carried. Check 'em out. Torso is adjustable for a wide range of torso lengths.
I've used a BDstorm for the past 4 years and have been pleased with it especially for its size and weight. Went away from PT because switches kept going out. Maybe they are better now. BD has a new Storm that boasts 160 lumens for 40 bucks.
Nice bull Ross!
Elkfitness, I'll second that as a good feeling!
Mt100gr, I also have a buddy with the same exact "shoulda been a meat pole" story. Cool pic.
Here's a meat pole from last fall. Last one I have (without going way back and scanning some in).
Great shed photos GonDeep and Ross.
Incredible foggy peak with the moon Mtmiller.
One of the best meat poles I've seen Logan T!
I only have a couple more meat pole pics, so here's one from a few year ago. Makes my back and shoulders hurt a little every time I see it.
I've been looking to try something very similar with my evolution because it carries weight so well. It seems having compression straps dedicated to the meat bag and attaching the packbag independently would be the way to go. Nice work!
