    In my experience the transporter will want to know as soon as you have a moose broken down and ready for transport so they can arrange their schedule for pickup.

    I have owned a yamaha 2000 and a champion 2000. The yamaha burned alot of oil and would shut down from low oil sensor. I would buy another champion. Ran it next to a Honda and noise was very close. For about 1/4 the price. Efficiency about the same.

    Cot recommendations

    Lots of good options depending on size height etc. I like the rio smart cot for Size ease of setup and comfort.not as big as cabelas cot. Walmart has them like $60.

    Prices have gone up considerably. 2023 I shipped my moose rack .alaska air cargo known shipper. $1017 from bethel to msp. Meat I took as checked baggage at $100 box. Extra charge for overweight and oversize now. I would go ak trophy express if I do it again.
