I like the idea of just forgetting about it, kind of like a nice little surprise later on but would the compounding interest grow too slow? I could be wrong but I would think the faster you grow an account (money in) the faster the interest can compound...
Another question would it be any benefit to let an old investment account just wait and forget about it till retirement or would it be smarter to transfer the balance to a more active account?
I have a TSP account that is following the C fund (S&P 500) I am not contributing to that account...
Are your guys investments for fun money or is this for retirement? I'm trying to set up some investments that can net me some fun money while i have separate IRA/401K accounts. I'm thinking of going with a brokerage account and throw is some money into stuff. good or bad idea?
seems like things...

You reference lugging stuff around and having to shoot it well, again this means the shooter making a bad shot not the rifle making a bad shot. It is impossible for a larger round that causes more damage to be less lethal than a smaller round in the same spot.
Same exact shot with the same...
you ok with paying the NR price tag? I Live in CO and have family in WY but looking at NR elk tag prices it keeps my in CO. I could go to Idaho and pay residence pricing but little farther from home and don't have a good basecamp there.
Matt,
Thanks for reaching out! right now I'm rifle hunting and appreciate the suggestion and offer. Ill see if I can find some local clubs/groups around my area. Just feel awkward trying to befriend other grown men to spend time with them in the woods.
This is going to be my first season and a little overwhelmed with gathering all the information and making choices on what rifle season to choose, what unit, and whether or not to just start building points and get an OTC tag and cross my fingers.
I've had a very little mentoring from some of...
What is more important the yoke sizing or the belt? I would assume the yoke would be more important but it seems more people worrying about the belt sizing.
I am in the market and able to get a good deal on a MR pack but I'm stuck on the sizing. I wear 32/33 pants and my measurement for MR is...
Wonder if they will give you guys multiple entries for each post you have made....
But my initial thought before doing much research was for a start up company releasing their first pack they came in too hot and asked for too much money. My first thought was this thing is the same price as...
I only went with SWFA because they had the scope in stock at the time. I was originally going to order from eurooptic but it went OOS the day I was going to order and was told 8-12 weeks for restock, it then came back in stock two days later and a day after I ordered from SWFA....
SWFA was...
Not sure how much you got it for but I just ordered mine from swfa and they were pretty awesome and price matched this website. It’s in stock and matches the same part number.

The problem is the government requiring you to take this class for the "privilege" to hunt but not supporting the demand of individuals and having enough classes. You cant require something from people and then not offer enough opportunities to meet that requirement. From what I have seen its...
From what I was told its classroom then you get a dinky little 22 and have to shoot a target a couple times. If she has been shooting and knows basic stuff I wouldn't not see her having any issues. Getting her into a course is another problem, seems like almost all of them are either closed or...
initial impression is good clean picture but only experience with it is creepily looking at neighbors houses and across sportsman warehouse. Ill let you know how it is when I get it mounted but might be a couple weeks its been pretty chilly out.
