Who makes their own waxed dirt? Getting ready to make some, have watched some YouTube videos and doesn’t look hard. I don’t have a cement mixer so going to try a black tub with cover in the sun method. Any tips or tricks?
I have both the EB’s and Wranglers, the Wranglers are a thicker material, but more durable. Sitka Ascents are thin like the EB’s but more expensive. Love the Eddie Bauer pants but stitching sucks.
You’ll likely be hunting pen raised birds so they should sit tighter for the dogs, light modified choke with lead shot will do good. Good boots and a pair of chaps will make your trip more enjoyable.
I’ve got an Outdoorsmans pan head and a VA-5 and actually like the smoothness of the Sirui better. I’m sure the Outdoorsmans fluid head would be great for large optics but not necessary for a 65mm.
I use TAC driver vanes in a 4 fletch configuration and have had very good luck with them. Only complaints I have heard of is getting them to stick when glueing but have not had any come off on mine.
I know a few of you bought the Audew jump starter awhile back, can you give an honest review after owning it for awhile.
