I'm going to send in some teeth to get a lab age off my buck from this year. To split up the cost I figured I would check and see if there are a few guys interested in sending some teeth in as a group? Shoot me a PM if you are interested. I'll hold off sending mine in for a little while to give...
Something to try..
I have high blood pressure, have had it since I was in my early 20's. A few years back I was consistently running 150's-160's over high 90's-low 100's... Dr. put me on metoprolol and that brought me down into the high 120's/low 130's over high 80's.. I was on that medication...
I'll play, this is as close as I've come to breaking the 30" mark. This buck was 29 and change. I just couldn't quite get the tape stretched to 30 no matter how badly I wanted it.
Gun & load info is. CVA Paramount 50 cal.
Shooting Blackhorn 209 powder 115 grains by weight (~165 by volume).
CCI large rifle magnum primers.
This load shot both the Fury 320 gr. universals, and the 340 ELDx great. Shot both bullets out to 400 yards on target. If I had to choose just 1, my...
I have a recent supplement eye opening experience to share.
I am 32 years old, I have hypertension. I have had (or at least know about) said hypertension since I was in my early to mid 20's. My average blood pressures were 150's/160's over 95/105. Worst blood pressure I recorded was 165/110...
I have a pair of the Meoptas, my buddy has the Swaros. We've been on many hunts together using them side by side. I do believe the swaros have a slight edge. But I the meoptas are still very good. I can not justify paying the extra money for swaros seeing the difference. If budget was no...
I have the Kodiak Cabin 9x12. I have not added the stove jack yet, but I am getting ready to add one. There are some good threads on here of people who have added jacks to kodiak tents in the past.
For what it's worth... I just converted my house to a tankless, I paid $2,500 for the unit plus installation (I did not skimp on the unit, I bought very high quality). Plumber is a good friend that I worked for through college, but I know he still made a profit at that price.
Some of the prices...
Here is a Duracoat job I did on my shotgun last year. Wanted an old school duck hunter camo, but there aren't many factory options in this pattern. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I used a set of vinyl stencils that I ordered on line for the pattern.
I used a really cheap airbrush off...
There were a lot of great matches this weekend, favorite match of the tourny was probably Keegan/Carr semis I like both those kids, they ahve been a lot of fun to watch over the years, really great rivalry.
I was watching with my three year old, at the beginning of each match I would ask him...
Just made the switch to EXO, I have been using various Kifaru frames and bags for the last decade. I tried a buddy's K2 roughly 5 years ago. Compared to my kifaru duplex lite at the time I preferred the Kifaru when it came to frame comfort. Of the packs I've tried over the years, the duplex lite...
My two current favorites are green cholula and yellowbird siracha. The yellowbird siracha doesn't really taste like traditional siracha, but it is fantastic on just about everything.
It might still be worth a shot for you. It may have been more of an issue with the profile of the frame, than the actual shape of the pad in my case. I didn't try swapping the lumbar pads between the two frames, (I probably should have). I think if the pad would have lined up better for me, I...
As a member of the assless army, I personally found that I actually prefer the duplex lite lumbar pad over the ARK. This is a real bummer to me, I really wanted the ARK to work for me but I went back and fourth hiking with both frames and the lumbar pad was the breaking point for me.
The...
