Something I know something about if this would qualify you for a prostaff position I would be on every prostaff out there. Some of the things that I feel have left me in the tag soup line:
Not making enough time to hunt
Not putting on enough miles
Lack of preseason scouting
Not understanding...
I would agree although I did not break my new pack, I did swing by the shop and Kevin helped me fine tune the fit of my T-2. It is nice to live so close to the store front. Great company and I do not mind spending money with them.
I have the non-HD Razors and absolutely love them. When I bought them two years ago I compared them to the Swaro's and for the money they are well worth it. The only difference I could notice was at last light. The Swaro's picked up the last 5 min. or so of light much better than the Razors. I...
I agree with rya_a's comments about buying high end gear and expecting the customer service to be in line with the price of the product. Nothing irritates me more than to pay top dollar to for a piece of gear and then not be able to get things corrected when there are problems. I can remember...
I would agree on the Space Rain I have used it in Colorado since it was introduced. Keep in mind it will not hold up to heavy "bush whacking" but is light and will keep you dry. IMHO it does not breathe the very best but I have not tried anything else. It is always in my pack and goes with me on...
I could not agree with Luke more on this statement. I do not get out as much as I would like. That does not mean that I do not value the time I get to spend in the mountains and do not appreciate good gear. I try not to comment on new gear because I do not get to spend as much time using it. But...
After reading Becca's thread on lightening their first aid kit it got me to thinking what does everyone carry in theirs? I will list the contents of mine. After going through all of it I think I can lighten my kit as well. With all the contents my kit is coming in at 10.5 oz. I think I could...
Is that the best you got for this guy Aron J. I wish I could help I know that Fred Eichler’s outfitting business is head quartered out of Trinidad (Full Draw Outfitters). There does not seem to be a whole lot down there. I think the Junior College has a pretty big industrial engine program I...
Thin year this year on the amount of gear I bought however it was not light on the wallet right at 1600 bucks ouch.

Kifaru T-2 Pack
Aron is that the cow elk you were talking about at the bow shop last week. I would have taken my pack back and made my hunting partner carry his own broken pack out.
I am at 185 and would like to be at 175 by the end of August. I do not think 10 pounds will come off that fast but we will see. I would be happy to start the season at 180.
MY original order date was May 2o'ish I thinks I cannot remember the exact date. My T-2 showed up at about 7:30 on July 3rd. the brown and yellow Christmas sleigh was a welcome sight.
I got an email with a tracking number today. The email said my t-2 and regulator sack should be here tomorrow. Cannot wait to get the pack on and hit the hills.
The Waldo Canyon Fire has taken a huge turn for the worse and came down the mountain and into Colorado Springs in a very bad way. Currently there are 32,000 residence displaced and we could use any help we can get. They are asking for donation to the local Red Cross. The Red Cross has set up...
Yes this is a different fire that started today. Not a part of the Springer Fire. There are 2 single engine planes, 2 large tankers, and one helicopter. They are pulling half of the quick response team from the Springer Fire to fight the Waldo Canyon Fire. This information is just off the news...
Yet another fire erupted today around 12:00 pm. This fire is in the Waldo Canyon area of El Paso and Teller Counties in Colorado. For those not familiar with the area that is just west of Colorado Springs. With the wind direction right now the fire is being blown back toward Colorado Springs and...
I hunted for years in hand-me down BDU's from my dad and uncles until about five years ago and I started buying good equipment one or two pieces at a time. It have taken me several years to get good stuff and being comfortable on a hunt makes a huge difference. I can remember my first archery...
