One other question about the accuracy of this gun:
1/2 MOA with 200 grain accubonds, 200 grain eld-x, and 180 grain ballistic tips at 250 yds. Dan guarantees 1/2 MOA at 250 yds on his gun, and this gun performs

Any chance anybody up here is running a proof research carbon barrel (sendero contour) with a McMillan ultra lite stock (carbon) in game warden or game hunter?
Im curious on how it balances, finished weight, etc?
I've got a complete northern outfitters cold weather suit. (10 peice - hat, liner gloves, outer gloves, top/bottom liner, parka, pants, boots (size 10)
I bought it for a Saskatchewan whitetail hunt a few years ago and never even wore it because temps never warranted it. I paid $1500 for it...
I've heard good things about the Leupold vx5hd line, and those scope are light. I also don't think you could go wrong with a night force shv if weight isnt an issue.

What do you have your rings torqued at? Most ring manufacturers recommend around 20 inch/lbs, which ain't alot. If the rings are too tight, it can bind the scope tube/internal adjustments.
You may have already done this, just thought I'd throw it out there.
