3-12x54 D4 reticle with a red dot. I included pic of the purchase order from 8/27 of this year. Thing is like new and went to the woods 6 days. Glass is perfect.
Include Seekins 34mm rings that were ordered with the scope. Also has Tenebrek caps.

I agree. I went with a Credo HX from EuroOptic and no regrets. I have or have had all the scopes you mentioned. Currently have:
Schmidt and Bender T96 Polar in 3-12x54 illuminated dot

Really just needed for shooting out to 600 yards. Occasional western hunt but primarily a range tool. Looking at an Athlon Cronus
12-36x50
Recommendations and shared experiences appreciated.
Very clean bluing and Wood. Functions flawlessly and has been well cared for. Was inherited by a close friend who doesn’t hunt. I Think the manufacture date is mid 80s. I don’t know a lot about these but will be glad to send you a picture of the serial number. $750 delivered to your FFL.
Mounted and then removed it to go with a different scope. CDS dial unused. $1375 delivered. Practically new. I bought it 4 months ago and it’s never been in the truck or to the woods.

Yes my base layer is merino wool. Have been using a fleece layer over that but want to try wool. Also to have something that isn’t camo and would serve me “around town”. I’d like to have a good wool shirt that serves a couple of roles.
I would like to get a mid layer shirt or sweater. I have used fleece for years but want to get a wool shirt for my layering system. Looking for suggestions and shared experiences. Thanks
