Like these guys have said, sounds like a great starting point and anything you do will separate you from the average guy. Once you get conditioned to the soreness and you start seeing results, you may want to add some lifts to your workout. Even just doing squats and shrugs a couple times per...
Congrats! Great small company. I've ordered a few accessories and my dad just bought a pack from you. Very good videos too; no fluff, just the way it goes down.
I've never hunted Colorado, but plan to in the future- most likely archery mule deer. There is a ton of information out there in the form of numbers and spreadsheets, and there's also Google Earth. It can be confusing to start crunching statistics, especially because CO has a weird spreadsheet...
In my opinion, if it's not a cable/ wire saw, it's not necessary. I used to pack in a Wyoming saw... what a waste of space and weight! Besides cutting off the skull cap, you can use a knife to de-bone and cut every joint needed to break down an animal. Knees, hips, spine... no saw needed. And...

Ruttin- How small does the Core4 rain gear pack down to?
Way to go Ed! Because of this thread, I took my bow rather than my .223 out yesterday. Called in a bobcat, but didn't attempt a shot. Thanks for the motivation.
Never done that, but I will write notes on wind direction and time of changes- especially when the day seems to be really "typical" (no strange weather happening). I like your idea though! If you were to have pics of possible stalking routes for say 3 of a bucks bedding locations in addition to...
I agree to some extent. I do my share of mountain biking also, and it's great for balance. Also works the mind way more than road biking. But, I get my best cardio out of road biking in the mountains. Going hard on a 7-10 mile 3500-4000 foot paved climb can't be beat IMO. Then you get to descend...
I'm an instructor also; I teach at the SSU gym. It's a great workout for the time, but nothing beats going out and putting 50-100 miles on the road bike.
