I would not trust a shop to tune my bow. It sounds like you are very close to having it dialed. What model bow do you have?
I build the arrows I want and shoot 2 or 3 bare shafts through paper with my bow set to center shot. I will shim the cams if I would need to move my rest more than 1/8"...
Here are my experiences with different weight arrows and insert systems.
5 deer taken with various arrow weights. I only draw 28 inches at 60 lbs and shoot a Mathews V3. The broadheads used for these deer were all magnus cut on contact style with a mix of buzzcut and stingers.
Cheap and...
They must be talking about the polymer stock. The peak 44 bastion stock on the alpine is stiff and as good as any I have shot. My experience shooting it is on a mk v in 6.5 RPM and it does mitigate recoil significantly.
I thought I should post the finished rifle build. No issues with accuracy or pressure shooting factory loads so far. I won't bother with velocity or a 10 round proof group until at least 40 rounds down the bore.

As of this morning they seem happy to help. Their response time was quick too.
"Good afternoon,

Now I'm considering a left handed 6 CM tikka build with the privateer stock. But...
Pick up an argali carbon and don't look back.
Edge retention has been great through 2 whitetail and one mule deer. The size is perfect for fine work, but won't hold you back when making long cuts along the back straps.
Another bonus is you can take the whole thing apart and scrub it down...
As long as you nock tune and square the ends of your arrow when you put them together you should be able to hang with your buddies.
I have bounced between high end arrows with premium components and average gold tip hunter Xt. The .204 diameter seem to be the best balance of strength...
I use a B3 ghost hinge in the color white because I'm afraid to misplace it in the field. I usually keep mine in the left breast pocket of my hunting shirt.
Use whatever release helps you control the shot process.
Another cause of shift I have seen is cleaning the bore to bare metal. I'm not sure if the change was due to removal of copper or of carbon. Boretech eliminator cleans both.
After cleaning, my weatherby shoots 2 moa low until 5-7 rounds are down the bore, then it returns to previous POI. I...
I have 3 leupolds in circulation.
Vx-3i 2-10x40 windplex On a weatherby 6.5-300 magnum, lapped talley rings, 7.2 lbs scoped
Vx-3i 2-10 Boone & Crockett, 30-06 rem 700 with standard leupold steel rings
Vx-freedom 3-9x40 on a 50 cal thompson center with dednutz one piece mount
All rings were...
For those with a V3 31 and who also tried the lift how do they compare? Are the actual speeds similar at the same draw weight & draw length. What about Balance and all that?
I'm on a kill streak with my V3 and it isn't going anywhere, but it doesn't hurt to keep an eye out. I personally shy...
I emailed weatherby about the sale and they will apply the discount to pre-orders of the high country model in whatever caliber. So you could get a discount on one that is not in stock. Maybe email them and see what they say about the custom shop?
I ended up purchasing a weatherby Apex lefty...
The 12-40x60 strikes a really nice balance between packability and optical clarity. If you are willing to carry more weight, and pay more, the Swarovski spotting scopes are amazing. I also get a discount so it helps a lot.
whatever you do, get a solid tripod and good pan and tilt head for it...
