Climbing stick

how does the rope cinch it down to the tree? I have LW sticks and am almost to the point of selling them because i hate the straps.

First Elk Hunt - DIY - OTC - Colorado (need help!)

The first 2 days you will be sucking wind just getting acclimated to the elevation. Try and budget more time if you can, or just set realistic expectations for yourself.

521 colorado. Muddy basin drainage. Or any other thoughts.

There were 2 bivy camps located in that basin last september with a few guys archery hunting. All of the sign we saw was at least a week or 2 old. If I had good pack stock no question in my mind I would go deeper into the raggeds. Its been my limiting factor as to how far i'm willing to go...

pyramid tent / tipi tent question

Are there any less expensive / more affordable tipi tents out there? I'm looking at the kifaru and seek outside tipis but they are right around $1k. Any ideas?
