    DIY First Aid Kit

    Tourniquet,quick clot bangage,Israel bandage,one smaller compress bandage & 5ft gorilla tape. Not much worry about the minor stuff. If I carry anything else it may be some ibuprofen,Leuko tape in a different spot.

    Had a Aeropress and it doesn’t make near enough coffee for what it is. Jetboil with French press makes a larger and better cup.

    Im going Tarp Bivy this year. Give me you tips and tricks

    Most tarp setups are much heavier than 12oz,there are expensive exceptions obviously . If your tarp and bivy is 12 oz it’s either very expensive or small or both. I do enjoy setting up a tarp sometimes just to chill under or during kayak camping.

    Been down this road a few times and always cuss it. Will probably do it again. Hard to beat a free standing tent for another 1.5 lb.

    I would say have him spend 200-250 and buy one. I held off for years because I’m a tight ass. I cant even eat pizza and beer with my wife for 100.00.
