Reviving this old thread in case anyone's looking to do some diving this summer. I just got back from the Channel Islands and am itching to get after it in MT or WY.
The sizing is very European, but Montane Terra pants have been my go to for the past 5ish seasons. They have several different variants, but the ones I use have hip vents, zippered fronts pockets and no back or cargo pockets (which I prefer). Very lightweight, quick drying and extremely durable...
I recognize that second photo - I'm pretty sure I was across the drainage from you guys for about two days last year.

I'd also recommend Alps Mountaineering - I have an Extreme 2 that has been left up in heavy winds and precip with no problems. It's the tent I keep in my vehicle...

I have this one too - it's heavy but probably handles abuse better than the superlight versions. I've taken it on several hunts and scouting trips and it has held up well.
I realize this is an old post, but are you still liking the uhd 18s over the meopta 15s. I currently have the meoptas and they're my favorite optic to use, but I find myself wanting more magnification fairly often. Thanks
