I have a friend who i'm getting into hunting and this would fit him perfectly. He has a wedding to pay for so his budget is very limited. He's just got a hand me down bow that we are sighting in this weekend and I'm giving him a couple of hang-ons. This would complement what he already has...
How noisy is it for spot and stalking? Is it loud when anything rubs on it? I watched a YT video on it and I couldn't tell it was the bag that was very noisy or if it was just because the microphone was super close.
I've had 4+ hour sits in my Mantis Saddle and have been very comfortable (some napping may have occurred). I usually get back pain sitting in my hang on's or ladder stands and the saddle fixed that.
If you search Sawtooth 45 there a few posts about it. I think I'm going to go with the 45 once they come out with different colors/patterns. I read somewhere that there maybe an additional lid that will fit it as well.
As the post says, I'm selling a KUIU Teton jacket in size medium. No rips tears or stains. I just need a larger size otherwise I'd keep it.
90$ to your door in the lower 48.
Open to trades for similar items in size large. Let me know what you have.
I used the Mantis Saddle this season and was very impressed with it. It's comfortable, secure, quieter/easier shot angles, and lighter. I won't be going back to my hang-on's any time soon. In my permanent ladder stand locations I use the seat as my saddle platform.
I purchased the sanctuary set this year and was very happy with it (I should've purchased it years ago!). I used it from 30*F to low teens and was never cold with minimal layering underneath. For North central MN Rifle season (Nov 9th -24th) I didn't even have to wear the bibs for my evening...
Hasn't been been scored yet. I'll have the taxidermist score him. What do you think he will score from the trail cam photo's. He's a mainframe 10 with a trident brow tine.
I had a pretty successful season and ended up with a lot of venison grind meat. I plan to grind it all at once and make a bunch stuff. My go to has been pattied venison bacon burgers, smoked jalapeno cheddar brats, various summer sausages, and I always package some bulk with 10% beef fat for...
I do a lot of whitetail stand hunting. I've done it all from heated enclosed stands to small hangons. You can't go wrong with XOP or millennium stands.
I'm patiently waiting on my Tethrd saddle package to be delivered, I'll let you know my first thoughts when it gets here. There are a lot of...
