I've not killed with the 90 ELDX, but have been very impressed with the 108 ELDM. If you're not hand loading, I'd definitely be looking to purchase 108's from UM to get the most out of the 8 twist .243 win.
6.5CM is fine, though the more 6mm I shoot the more I think it is the way. It's a shame...
It's done! Second shot at 720 was a hit. (photo includes my son's two shots as well at 1:00 on the target).
Thanks again to everyone who put in the work to make this such a great way to get a real gut check on our ability to put one bullet where it needs to go, right now.
My takeaway, if I'm...
I genuinely think that the most beneficial thing that's happened in the last few years was my miss on my first 600 yard qualifier last year. I had spent lots of time on kids' rifles, kids' practice, and almost none on my own that spring.
It's a much more perishable skill than we would like to...
Still in! First shot at 720 today, barely on the 8" plate but a hit is a hit.

The change from the braked 7mmRM to the suppressed .243AI has been an absolute success. Going in I had fears of lower BC/racing cartridges on paper, but there's zero question in my mind that this...
You shouldn't buy a Tikka .223 as a trainer rifle. You should buy it as a rifle rifle. Train with it too, of course. But don't think of it as just a trainer.
I appreciate the real world results, but you're still missing the point.
A .223 with a bonded 55 SP is a poor choice for larger game at longer ranges. We all agree with that position.
You refuse to try the bullet that lets the .223 produce the largest wound channel it can. If I said, "you...
I'd strongly encourage you to take a step or two back and re-think a couple of things...
What is the reason for 7PRC? What do you want to do with it that cannot be done with something like a 6.5CM or 6CM?
What rifles do you currently have? In order to take advantage of its capabilities over a...
Not enough wallop factor if you're a Von Benedikt disciple. Those large reptilian species benefit from an increased frontal diameter, for a bit more authority on impact.
Call them. Beretta apparently sent an incorrect list to the rebate admin company, they have manually approved all that I have heard of that got that message (including mine).
Ha! I recently have sold a few rifles and have downsized to my old Browning A5 12 gauge, .17HMR bolt gun, 18" AR-15, T3 .243AI, and Glock 48. Kids have .22's, T3 .223, and 6mmARC but I don't consider those part of my collection. I'm focusing on getting reliable glass (pretty much done) and cans...
Beats the hell out of waiting for my order to be filled based on my place in line.
I said it before, going from the beginning of an open and public development process to delivering the finished product in less time than it typically takes to get a McMillan or manners that is already an...
I just had a brilliant idea for a giveaway, @Unknown Munitions ... Draw a number (or three) and bump their rokstok order to the front of the line. I bet more than half the participants have one on order!
It's done! 2/2 at 595, 2/2 at 720 on an 8" plate. Good center hits for the first two, marginal second two.

I'm calling my MER at 700 this year.
595 yard first round hit.
8" plate (still waiting on my 10" to arrive). Like an idiot I didn't have a can of spray...
