Certain matches where there isn't a ton of natural barricades, the triple with tripod rear seems to be a huge advantage. Other matches where there is more natural terrain to use, not quite as much advantage.
I have on shot the 75 BTHP from AAC out of an AR platform and it does great for me. There are quite a few reports on the site of the AAC ammo shooting good enough. Don't believe it is as good as black hills, but acceptable for the price.
13# i think. And a suppressor class. Not sure why they made it 6.5 creed only though. That’s sure limiting. 13# 6.5 creed is a significant disadvantage to a 25 lb 6 dasher so it’ll be interesting to see the score differences. I personally would have been fine with a 16# limit and a suppressor...
My scythe only has maybe 500 rounds through it of 18" 6 creed, 18" 22 creed, and 24" 6.5 creed. No problems so far, but none of those rounds are burning more than 43 grains of powder.
4 or 5 failures in this thread is definitely concerning. However, I wonder what the sales of these are in...
In my opinion racks aren't going to do you much. The most weight I would want to put on fenders is something like 10 lbs anyway. Weight does much better on your back because you can move it to balance. Much weight on your bike is just going to add instability and make the bike tip over that much...
Appreciate you posting this and also like the larger sample sizes... as I think we all know when trying to show a meaningful difference, 3 shot groups don't cut it.
Larger ES/SD on the first sample, wondering how much of that is barrel break in or speed up. Will be fun to see if it stabilizes...
I wish there was some benefit to it - 10% off or something. Basically the way I am reading the email is "Float us some cash so we can maybe buy tooling to make you a stock IF we get enough capital raised, if we get enough money then you can pay full price for it"
They have to have enough...
This looks like an awesome option. From what I have seen, Mcmillan fit/finish it top notch. Glad they finally got with the program on weight and stock design. I got the email about the dev project. Was hoping you guys would all fund it and get some in hand for first hand reviews before I...
I found that thread and seems easy enough. I change thoughts so much that I was afraid to commit to what I thought was mostly permanent, but sounds like it is not at all. I like the UM direct rings but I swap scopes around so much that I like rails for that reason
Haven’t shot this gun much the last few months as it’s not my primary hunting rifle. Got it out for a hunter match today. On one stage, I pulled an absolute bone-head move and let go of my gun while it was on top of a barricade to grab my tripod. When i turned to grab the tripod, the gun fell...
