    I was in Trophy stage til I got bored with it all. Went to the take others to kill whatever and eat really good stage. Newbies being successful makes me happier now than my killing a trophy. Good Shoulder mounts at $700 seems a bit high anyway.

    That's what most idiots in my area have shot since the 70s. I was born in 68 so I don't know what they shot before. Now many have the cheap Savage Axis with junk Vortex scopes.

    My thoughts also. I can't help but believe the best cheek position for prone is not necessarily the best for sitting while shooting off a rest or freehand shots. I'll add in that after 3 fractured cervical vertebrae, I get more/worse headaches after shooting with my cheek on a stock than I do...

    Where do you look for hunting land for sale?

    This sounds heartless, but it's effective. Look on County internet property sites. Find what you want owned by some seriously elderly folks (by googling owners). Contact their kids (found in obituaries for spouse). Kids often sell land that makes parents roll over in their grave.

    I vote on the candidates, not the party Romney voted to impeach Trump. I'd vote for Bill Clinton in 2028 if his mind still worked and he could run. Romney is the definition of RINO...but often he played conservative.

    The pre-existing condition mandate helped many of my clients and neighbors. Like I said before, I voted for Obama twice. He was harmless. McCain was a warmonger and Romney was a complete chameleon. Didn't trust him at all.
