    I think 7mm-08 is the sweet spot on BLRs. I've ran 22-250, 243, 7mm-08, 308, 7mm, and 300wsm.

    I'll agree on that point. My $5-800 rifles shoot better than I can, so I don't see the point in a $2500 rifle unless you are shooting over 500 yards

    You left out "divorce is imminent and she knows you have a bunch of guns, but she doesn't have an accurate inventory of them" and "ran out of $ building a new house". I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons folks need to sell accurate rifles.

    Back when I sent letters, I offered to meet landowner and family at a local mom and pop "meat and 3" cafe to discuss...with me paying. You'd be surprised how that $20-40 meal (back 15 years ago) stirred up interest. Especially from older folks.
