Selling to fund another project. The scope works as it should. No ring marks. Comes with box. With a flashlight you can see some tiny little scratches from improper lense cleaning on the eyepiece..doesn’t show up in pics.
$380 TYD
maybe not shot out..my first one started popping 88eld about 1 in 10 shots maybe 500 rounds in? It was also a 1:7 twist that was really slow for some reason.
Current rechambered tikka has started to open up a bit at 400 rounds or so. Could be a few different things to be fair..it’s blued and...
Maybe my eyes suck but the tenmile reticle is not visible enough to me at low power in the field. The maven is significantly better in that regard. I have killed enough things up close, in timber, at last light etc to not be willing to compromise that aspect of a scope.
Got my wife the Kuiu on on clearance. She is 5’5 and the frame is almost too big but fits perfect on the smallest/lowest setting. We packed out a deer this week and she loved the pack, usually gets neck pain with backpacking packs but the fit was comfortable for her.
I have two alterra tikka carbon hunter sticks for sale, right handed LOP 13.5”.
$450 for bare carbon
$350 for the sponge paint job
$700 if you take both, price reflecting my modifications and cosmetic issues. These are fully functional and probably 3-4k rounds between them.
The bare carbon...
Maybe that was Leica lingo, equivalent horizontal range (shoot-to distance).
Looks like mine does the same thing. Flips the placement of shoot-to within 100 yards and beyond 100 yards.
I have not tested or compared the accuracy but that is concerning for an archery hunter..curious what swaro...
That’s funny because I had both 25 creed and 25-284, for that barrel I was only 100fps faster than my creedmoor at the same length so the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. 25 creedmoor has been all I need, although I shoot 26” barrels with no muzzle device.
Got my 25 creedmoor (26” unbraked) zeroed in the rokstock today. Shot about 100 rounds of 223 and 50 rounds of 25 creedmoor from the rokstocks. Mostly prone off a pack/mollinator, some from a bipod and zeroed on the bench/sandbags.
Loving these stocks..excellent recoil impulse in the 25...
Great to see stiff penalties for a premeditated poaching case like this. Lived in Richmond for 4 years for schooling..wish I would have spent time in that cemetery taking pictures of deer!
20 rounds, factory tikka 223 in a rokstock. El cheapo reloads (cheapest combination of components with a higher BC bullet I could find) with ABC 75gr BTHP, starline brass, lever, CCI 400s at 2820 fps.
