It’s fixed length. Without the spacers it is pretty short but I wouldn’t say it’s youth short.

I have two, neither is stock. They're fun relatively inexpensive project guns for me. A 308 in a Magpul stock and the .204 Predator in an LSS-XL. The 204 shot great in the original stock and now shoots spectacularly. When the wind behaves it'll shoot .5 MOA. I'd buy another one in an instant if...
Like new. Mounted once, not fired. Glass is in new condition. Included original packaging, wrenches and mounting hardware. 3.5 MOA.
Direct fit to the Hellcat. Shield mounting pattern.
$220 TYD buyer pays fees.

I cut the outside tendon and bend the quarter if it's too long for my Rtic 145. I don't think muscle retraction on the shank meat will impact it's tenderness anyway. I do like to keep the big muscles on the bone also.

The kelvin active is a good choice. It's basically the old Patagonia nanopuff but in camo.
Damn near as good budget option:

I shot 3 pronghorn and a mid sized cow elk with 143gr eldx last year. All in the 250yd range 3053fps MV. All of them went down within 50-75 yards of the shot. Best shooting bullet from my PRC and in my.opinion super reliable. All of our sample sizes are pretty small though.

If there's no money in gunsmithing... the solution would be to not do it.
The single biggest issue I see in all of this (and frequently when it comes to custom work/construction/services etc) is the time and communication thereof. If you cannot create some sort of system to track committed...
We switched to a chamber (the MEAT model mentioned above) and it was hands down the best gear investment in a long time. It gets a ridiculous amount of use and the bags are cheap. Plus since you can monitor the level of vacuum you are creating before the chamber opens up you can deal fragile...
Mine is only on one side. Leaves room for my 145 RTIC cooler on the opposite side which I can access through the topper window. It’s 8” deep and I can fit all my recovery gear and backup base camp plus some propane and a Coleman stove.

They’re all basically the same. I think like 4 manufacturers make almost all of them under dozens of brands. We picked up a new IBEX this year and I’ve been really impressed with the features for the money. Get Azdel wall panels and a Dometic fridge if you can. That’s the important bits.

Agreed. I like having a small tarp for a place to cook/eat outside of the tent when we get those mid day thunderstorms in September.
If I thought the rain fly on my tent wasn’t enough, I’d retire it and buy a new one. BA makes good tents. It’s enough as a stand alone.

In Northern CO scout whenever you want because there are enough active users in most of the woods all summer you probably won’t make a big difference.
I like to scout in July/August a few times mainly looking for water sources in the areas we like to hunt. Normally in September things will be...
Extra tent we haven’t used in ages. All fabrics and the window are in good shape no sun exposure. Pole elastic is also like new. Does not include stakes or ground cloth. Only been used 1-2 weekend trips.
Not the lightest tent but has a good reputation for being stormproof. I figure somebody...
