If you had to start over....

2645 FPS 156 EOL for elk

Tikka 6 creed PVA 108eldm feeding issue
I have the same PVA barrel and after a box I was having issues with closing the bolt. Had a carbon ring at the start of the freebore. Is there any marks on the bullet? Mine had an obvious ring around it where it was getting stuck. I haven’t shot mine after cleaning but it’s feeding again... -
2645 FPS 156 EOL for elk
I just did a ladder with N565 for both 156 & 140 hybrid target. Going to load up 58 with both and see how they shoot. Hit some pressure around 59. I’m torn between the 156 and 140 as ballistics are close but the 156 wins out a little at distance. The 140 shot a little better in the ladder... -

Need some input from your more experienced shooters. Had an issue where I couldn’t close the bolt on factory 108 ELDM after my first box. Ben at PVA suggested I likely had a carbon ring and to clean that out. Seems awfully quick but I’m no expert. I bought a bore scope and here are photos... -
