This has been covered extensively by other people, but - the scope does not know the torque you’re applying to the cap screws. It only knows the clamp force it’s experiencing. Screw pitch has a big impact on torque to clamp force ratio. -J- NSI

You’ll need a mag spring to get your CTR action to work with the echo. I can dig up a spare to send you if you need. But you’ll need to be comfortable removing the trigger and torquing it back down within an inch of its life. -J -

More disappointment from my factory LMT barrel today, on the same day as I shot my lifetime best group on the Tikka 6.5. The AAC TMK has always shot worse than the OTM, but this is just ludicrous. I have never been more vulnerable to a PRI Black Friday sale. -J -
