    I always full length size all my loads. I own a few 3 die sets that came with neck sizing dies, but I have never even set them up. Reliability is way more important to me that marginal case life.

    As has been said, dress for comfort and to stay dry and warm. Deer and elk don't care what you are wearing. Most of my hunting gear is camo because that's how it comes, and I think camo is cool. Besides, I need it for duck hunting. Buy whatever camo pattern you like.

    If budget allows, Tikka in .308. A bit cheaper, Howa in .308. It is an incredibly versatile cartridge, once fired brass is basically free, ammo is everywhere, and anybody can shoot it.
