    Velocities were recorded while shooting with my labradar and they were consistent, bad primers could be the case. It’s fixed now so that’s all that matters 😂

    18” 6.5 prc, 124 hammer hunter, retumbo powder and a full case, got a node at 2905fps. Factory 143eldx were just over 2700fps if I remember right. I could see 2800 with the right powder.

    I think a lot of it is gun care, but it’s the small rust/scattered dots I’m talking about. Basically cosmetic but if I spend extra for stainless I want it to be stainless! 🤣 also I understand different grades of stainless have different properties.
