Or let’s say you draw a tag in another state, you can go in before may 8th and just remove yourself from the draw and get your 692 back and purchase the point?
just asking because Wyoming Made it semi confusing/ complicated
so let’s say you put into the draw for unit XY and you are unsuccessful, they refund your $692. Wyoming does not automatically award you a preference point. So no matter if you put in for the draw our. It you still have to purchase one for $52 later.... Am I interpreting that correct?
some of it is cost, but I am teetering on footing the up front cost for it only because it would take double digit points. So the chances I draw it. Nearly zero.
I have a question. I am going to apply for Wyoming, but I only want to apply for a type 6 (cow tag). Should I buy a point, then try and get in the leftover draw? Or put in for the type 6 and try and buy a point later. I’d appreciate some direction. I’d like to start to build points and just use...
I should probably mention that I will be there in a elk hunting anyways, and was going to add a antelope tag into my pocket. Might just even do a limited doe tag if that’s the case and not be picky looking for a bucks that hasn’t shed antlers yet.
Wanted to fire this back up. Im looking to put in for an antelope tag for 2020. My dates to hunt are going to be limited to early to mid November, which limits my units. but unit 20 looks like it goes into mid November. Did you have an success, any advise. feel free to send me a PM if you...
That makes sense. I need to start getting him in the yard and tossing a bumper around and having him bring it back and not try and play keep away. He doesn’t have a ton of playing fetch in his background so hopefully there aren’t any bad habits to break. Starting after the New Years, I’ll update...
Will do. I noticed a lot of these programs are for "puppies" and not necessarily adult dogs. Im sure I can take the relevant lessons from the programs and glaze over some of the basic obedience training parts since he already has a good grip on that.
I am wanting to train my dog to become my waterfowl hunting partner. He is a 16 month old yellow lab. He has already had general obedience training and is comfortable with an E Collar. Listens well, takes commands/marks well and is always looking to please. At this point I want to know what my...
yea I am slowly putting one together myself and I have the jetstream as my outer layer. I think I could get a kelvin lite under it but that’s it. Mostly because of the “performance fit”.
Im looking at getting a pair of the dew point pants only because of how inexpensive I can find them now. Im not going to be doing a lot of hunting in the rain or dumping snow. They would mostly be in my pack for the odd chance I need them to get to cover or move when its wet. I can't justify...
