Thank you. Yeah, I do worry about used ones, my hope is that they would be in good condition, and I will likely wind up just ordering some new ones but just wanted to see what I could find. I'm in Texas so finding tire chains for sale here is not easy, haha!
I need to buy some tire chains to fit 275/70-18. Before I buy some new ones I wanted to look for used chains or suggestions of where to look for some. I will be driving through CO last week of this month so I could possibly arrange to pick up if anyone in CO has some. Thank you.
I was gonna take the kids but they decided they’d rather go get spoiled by the grandparents 🙄 so I’ll be solo. Gonna head out there this morning sometime.
Anyone going to be at the Houston TTHA Hunters Extravaganza this weekend? I'll be going, haven't decided on a day yet. Let me know if you are it would be nice to meet up.
In regards to the OPs original post, so would it be advisable for a beginner and even someone who has taken significant time off from shooting a bow, to practice only with field points in optimal outdoor conditions until the shooter is confident that they, the bow and arrows are performing as...
CPW has a section on their website regarding the rules and regs for ATV's. I thought I read you have to register it somehow in CO to be able to use it. Be aware of areas that are closed to ATV travel. If you are willing to go through the process to b e able to use it then I'm sure it will be...
If it's just your son hunting then you don't need a tag to be with him. You can be there to help pack out and all that. Hunt planners have been really helpful for me and have a lot of good information.
I hope the constable was a bow hunter too and was sympathetic lol.
This year will be my first year as well and I'm also doing CO. Question though, you mentioned OTC and putting a cow in the freezer. If I'm not mistaken, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but OTC is only for Bulls. if you want a cow tag you would have to draw one. Not sure if it is...
UPDATE:
First and Foremost, thank you to everyone who provided input, I really appreciate all the suggestions and input. I definitely referred back to this thread a few times as cell reception allowed, so it was definitely helpful. Glad to be part of this community. And now the update...
Great suggestions so far I appreciate all the input. I'm sure we will not like the crowds but I'm going to do my best to drag everyone out of bed as early as possible so we can try to beat some of those crowds. I have some waypoints mapped on Onx and Go hunt apps, so I'll be trying those out...
Thanks for the input. We have definitely been warned about the people so I'm sure we will be up early some of the days. We likely will only do 3 full days worth of Yellowstone, then we also wanted to do the Tetons and maybe go into Bozeman and look around. We are coming from the Houston area...
Going to be in Yellowstone July 1-5. Anyone on here gonna be there by chance? Would love to meet up and talk hunting. This will be our first time up there, the kids are excited. And maybe it was a good excuse to test out a lot of the new gear I bought for this years Elk hunt...shhhh don't...
Loper, dis yours used to be camo pattern? I have a pair, my house shoes, that look just like those on top as the camo pattern has worn off, still have a bit of camo on the sides. They are basically smooth on the bottom because I have worn them so much. All my kids have crocs. There's at...
Well looks like the Red Breast 12 will by next bottle. I'll start with that, and then check out some other suggestions here. Great thread so far, thanks for all the suggestions.
Hmmm Red Titties? Always wanted to try me a fire crotch! Haha! Some good suggestions here. I've seen the Red Breast 12 year so may try that first. Definitely making a list. Thanks everyone.
Shenaniganz lol! reminds me of the move "Waiting"!
"...the hooker and I, went back to my place, and from there, God, it was just a blur of intravenous drug abuse and unprotected sex, while taking the lords name in vain."
Haha! sorry I love that movie.
Since there was a post about Scotch, figured I'd get some suggestions on Irish Whiskey. I usually save my Scotch for when I have a good friend(s) over, or when I need to simply ponder life. Usually smoke my pipe with it too. But my go to "daily drinker", well not quite daily, usually a couple...
