    Thanks for the advise. I thought going floorless that time if the year might be iffy, so based on advise here, will will consider my Atko or Mountain Star tent options. Could also look at the 3 season Enan option and save a lb or so of pack weight from the Atko option.

    Zip off base layers

    Thanks for the responses everyone. Maybe I will try the Kuiu Peloton 97 as prefer synthetic over merino. The FL merino in the past was way too itchy against my skin and drove me crazy. I’ve pretty much transitioned away from merino and have gone synthetic for next to skin layers.

    Love my 300 wsm and certainly wouldn’t talk you out of one. I built mine around the 168 gr TTSX bullet and it’s all i shoot. I’m getting 3100 fps with 64.0 gr RL17 from a 22 inch Satern barrel.
