I would think that a 6mm-06 would be advantageous over a 6mm-PRC for a couple reasons. Cartridge taper and easy feeding, plenty of brass everywhere, and a plethora of used 30-06 rifles for a decent price.
If you do a Tikka 22, just go 22-250 and have it punched out to 22 Creedmoor. If you want a 22 ARC, go Howa Mini with aftermarket Jefferson Outdoors hinged bottom metal.

The BAR is a pain in the ass to disassemble and reassemble. I wouldn’t trust it to operate in the environment that you have described. A lever action 30-30 would be a better solution.
Hello, first time poster here. What has been your experience with the 50gr TSX in a fast twist 1:8” Tikka T3? I intend to hunt deer if it will group decently. I am shooting the Barnes factory loaded ammunition. Thanks in advance
