So, I keep hearing whispers about some update Swarovski recently made to the ATS/STS/ line's glass. I can't find anything official about it though. Does anyone know when that took place, and how you can tell? I ask because I just ordered one and I want to make sure it is the most up to date...
Alaskan Guide Creations Alaska Classic Max bino harness. This is the model for larger binos such as 10x50 or range finding binos. Used for 1 season and I'm changing directions. First Lite Fusion camo. This thing is clean with no issues. Asking $60 shipped

Also selling a Colorado Tripod Company Highline medium ballhead. This is a super stout ball head that has great control. 75lbs weight capacity and weighs 1lbs. It's only been out to the field...
I am selling a Field Optics Research FT6841C ProMax Ultra Tripod. It is in great shape but has a few superficial scratches near the leg locks. Everything works as it should. This is a great tripod that will go high enough to glass from standing, depending on your height.

I am selling a Meopta Meostar angled S2 82 with a 20-70x eyepiece. The scope body is in excellent condition and the glass is perfect. This thing has lived its entire life in the stay on case and barely ever carried into the field. It has a small scuff in the finish on the retractable sun shade...
Just came across this. Not sure how legit it is, but it is being sold by Amazon and its free returns. I pulled the trigger on one.

I've got some money burning a hole in my pocket and it's going towards either the cirque lite or the sitka ambient jacket. I'm dying to know how they compare!
The problem you are going to run into is most of the bears are going to be up high in secluded areas. They are vulnerable coming out of hibernation. I wouldn’t let the mountains intimidate you. If you are in shape, you will be just fine. The altitude will have its affects and will make it sucks...
Anyone have any experience with Circle M Outfitters out of Prince George, BC? About to put a deposit down with them but I’m hoping to hear about any experiences you guys have with them
I think you are on the right track. Personally, I'd run what you currently have and buy as little as you have to right now. Good boots, binos, pack, basic outdoor clothing that won't burden you, and sleeping bag is all I'd worry about. You will have so much more info to make purchase decisions...
They are all pretty good clothes and I own pieces from all of them. Personally, I think they are all overpriced and you can get stuff of equal quality for less from Outdoor Research, Mountain Hardwear, Icebreaker, Smartwool, etc. as long as you are ok with solids instead of camo.
Yes, directly on to the carbon just below where it narrows to a lot consistent width. Done it several times one one barrel that switch out pretty often. I just use a generic barrel hose that is in no way perfectly machined either. I have been using drywall tape and grip powder to keep it from...
I have used my barrel vise on the carbon barrels several times and never had any damage. I'm not saying that it can't or won't but its always worked out for me
I used to run the brass inserts on my axis arrows and just switched to the half outs this year. So far, I love them and they have proven to add some durability to the arrows. I will be sticking with these going forward
Never hunted near cross so I can’t help you with the road access. But I have hunted unit 11 a lot over the years and yea it gets hit very hard. You will definitely be competing for space in most areas that have feasible access. 3rd season is definitely worse though
