Probably a Border Mosstrooper. I’ve got a set of Border Hexx 7.5 ILF limbs and they are smooth and VERY fast. Would really like to try a 1pc Border and I love the lines of the Mosstrooper. -Dawg

How do you carry your bow on your ATV?

I always hated the bow racks I saw for sale for ATV’s. I found the best thing for me was to take a BIG, soft, bulky coat and lay it on my rack and run 2 bungee straps across it to strap it to the rack. It gave it a lot of cushioning so the bow was never vibrating or bouncing on any hard surface...

Traditional bow with long draw

I have a measured 31-31.25” DL with my recurves and I shoot a JCA Optimus 21 riser with XL Border Hex 7.5 Supercurve limbs. I think it works out to about 66” officially, but it’s actually nowhere near that long with the Supercurve style limbs. The cool thing about the Borders is they only pick...

Why did you start hunting Trad?

I’ve bowhunted for 40 yrs. I started trad about 4 yrs ago. With the technology available for compounds these days, it just isn’t that much fun. I mean, where’s the challenge in shooting a deer at 25-30 yrds with a bow that shoots 330fps and has sights and stabs that make it virtually impossible...
