Slumberjack nightfall?

Marshall or Beartooth vs kuiu

I personally like the Marshall. It helps me pack in everything I need. It works well for me. I’ve heard good things about the beartooth from people I hunt with. It does a good job of compressing. I know one guy who hunts with a kuiu pack and he says it’s the only pack he likes. I don’t think you...

What is your favorite hunting dog and why ?

My favorite is the mountain feist. I got one as a rescue and he has been the best hinting partner there is. He’s fun to squirrel hunt with but he’s also dang good at finding sheds to. Great family dog on top of everything.

Someone new to hunting - what species do you recommend to them?

I have taken a lot of new hunters squirrel hunting or duck hunting to get them engaged in it and also see how they like it. Then if they want to continue hunting I’ll take them turkey hunting. I have gotten 5 of my friends into hunting this way and now they are traveling to different states to...
