How many of you guys are one gun hunters? I have been thinking about buying one gun to do all my hunting rather then having several for different species. If you use one gun to hunt with, what are you using?

Incidental predator call ins while elk hunting

I have gotten to the point I carry a pistol whenever I go on the mountain. Have ran into bears and a lion were I like to fish so the pistol comes along. Some of these encounters are crazy.

16" conpact bolt big game rifle

I have been looking hard at the S20 in 6.5 Creedmoor, but I didn't want to mess with cutting into the flutes. Maybe I will pull the trigger now and have my smith do it.

6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....

@Formidilosus I read in this thread or another that you prefer the 130 TMK in 6.5's. If the velocity is kept above 2050 how would you compare the performance of the 130 TMK to the 130 Berger Hybrid OTM?
