I’ve got a Trijicon Tenmile 3-18x44 and a Maven RS1.2 on the way. I’m basically following Rokslide protocol these days. Considered bedding, but haven’t because I haven’t committed to a rifle yet. If I could build a rifle right now I’d go Tikka, but they don’t offer a barrel that’s short...

It passed the initial drop testing, still being evaluated. I think he does 3000 rounds. Once they pass the initial drop test they have a high probability of passing the 3000 round test. I was going to wait, but wanted to get the Christmas discounts.

I have a Remington 700 20” .308 fluted heavy barrel and a Bergara Ridge 18” 6.5 cr with a #5 contour. Even though the Bergara still has a fairly meaty barrel it’s seems way lighter. The Rem700 shoots 1.5-2” at best with most ammo I’ve tried but shoots .5-1” 100yds with 168 Hornady match with...

The only reason I posted that I bought one was just to add another example of how Rokslide designed and/or test proven equipment sells. I’m so tired of not knowing what I’m getting when I buy something. Lots of trash out there. I think this type of ask+design+testing format is the next evolution...

I’ll help. It doesn’t reduce recoil. Less weight. Maybe the perception of recoil may be less due to less muzzle rise.

Seems like maybe S&B Klassic 3-12 and the Trijicon 3-18x44 have probably been the most highly recommended scopes in this mag range on Rokslide. I don’t know if a ranking list exists, just trying to remember what I’ve come across. Is there a list? How does this compare to those?

Curious about the angle of the negative comb. Is that just a result of wanting to be .75” above bore while making room for bolt operation? Or is this much negative comb what is needed to have the best effect?
