Love my 06. I just settled on the 160 Hammer Hunter this year. 59gr of Big Game pushes it at 2960 from my 22" barrel and 1" groups. Pretty sure I'm the problem with the accuracy, not a great shot. Dropped a bull elk at 275 yds within 3 steps.
I got some of the base level Leica Geovid R 10x42 as my first nice binoculars. I couldn't be happier. My eyes love the Leica glass and the rangefinder is spot on.

Excellent shape. No scratches that i can see or coating issues, and I can't see any issues when looking through them either. Body is also in excellent shape. I barely used them for a season and then didn't hunt much for a few years. Now have upgraded.

Seems to be a driving style thing from my experience. Engine braking, extended oil change intervals, and lots of idling have been the 3 biggest factors I've noticed.
