I wouldn’t choose either Leupold or Vortex, I like my rifle scopes to hold zero and work every time. But if I had to pick one between the 2, go with Leupold.
I use the FL Kiln Merino Hoody for my mid-layer. With a light merino T underneath i use the setup for temp ranges of 50-0 degrees, the only difference is the type jacket I’ll use.
I have 2 pairs of Kenetrex mountain extremes, 1 non insulated and 1 400gram insulated. Love them. Used Danners before and I could destroy them in 1 hunting season. Bought a pair of Crispi Colorado’s looking for a lighter pair for hotter days, they felt good in the store but when using them they...
I’ve use the Aziak Equipment bino clamp for my binos. It’s super light and doesn’t get in the way in my bino harness. Also I like having that both my spotting scope and binos are Arca-Swiss so I don’t need to carry any other attachments for connecting to my tripod.

I’ve shot elk with a 270wsm, 7mag, 7 rum, 300win, 300 rum over the years but if you are talking a dedicated smack down elk gun, the best caliber I love on elk is the 338 rum with a 250-300 grain projectile!
Hey everyone! New to the forum. Mobility was my vote, but also believe if you have full range of motion you’re doing okay. I eat well 90% of the time (I still like to enjoy living) and am naturally pretty strong. One thing that I’ve learned over the years of hunting Hells Canyon for most of my...
