I have always thought it would be cool to be able to set pins that fade and are automatically removed over time. I have deer sign from years ago that is largely irrelevant now. Think of any sign with a shelf life: tracks, scat, small scrapes, etc. Maybe they change color or transparency until...

I found a couple of other non-Rokslide forums that seem to clarify the matter.
They suggest selecting the certification for whatever weapon you plan to hunt with. "Firearms Certified" or "Bow Certified."
Apparently, "Test 50" indicates you have taken an Opt Out test for Military or over Age 50...
I'm applying for a Nonresident Small Game Annual License in Colorado.
There is a question on the application to provide proof of Hunter Education.
Firearm Certified
Test 50
Bow Certified
Can any Roksliders clarify which option I should choose? I have a Hunter Education from my state via...
Great post. And I am guilty of some of your observations. Trying to improve. I have been donating deer to Hunters for the Hungry if I can.

How many folks out there catalog (on paper or in a document) the meat in their freezer?
I just bought a new freezer and was transferring / organizing. And I was wondering if I was being too much of a nerd in thinking that I should track what I have.

I bought a fancy blaze orange panel for my backpack. Watching so many western hunt videos — is a blaze panel or flag on the backpack even necessary? I typically wear a blaze hat and blaze vest. Seems like some videos the only blaze I see is a hat. I’m guessing I’d more than likely be fine with...
So why are the left and right chest pockets so huge? They go way up towards the shoulder.
Also, next to each chest pocket is small black loop. What are these intended for?
Finally, there are some mesh pockets inside the jacket. Are these meat for large warmer pouches? They seem too loose to...
I do use a jet sled but the angle was so steep that it was impossible. 2x4s would help. I saw a video by Before The Echo where he used a similar system and a ratchet strap to crank the sled into the truck bed.

Real problem. I’m no spring chicken.
When you’re hunting solo — any tips, tricks, or DIY setups to get deer into the pickup truck without the throwing out your back (or worse?)
I got it done this time but it wasn’t pretty and I’m still sore 2 days later!
Thanks Roksliders!

Yes, I know the WY preference point purchases have closed.
I'm just hoping that I didn't overlook something. I purchased my elk and mule deer points weeks ago. But the antelope did not appear to be available. I am assuming, because I drew a tag / hunted them this year.
