It will be for 2nd season rifle in Colorado. I have gaiters as well and typically wear them in the mornings until things dry off. Kings has their paramount rain set heavily discounted so I can add the pants on for like $75.
It will be for a 2nd season Colorado rifle hunt. Will set up main camp by the truck and hike in if needed depending on weather. I’m looking at the kings paramount line. They have the jacket and pants discounted so it’s like $240 for the set.
I’m looking at upgrading my rain jacket and thinking if I should get the pants as well. How important are rain pants to y’all. I usually just use my attack pants with the dwr coating and I wash in nikwax so they’re pretty water resistant.
Yea I’m looking at the smart wool poly liners to add to my mid weight darn tough hikers but also saw the alpaca socks are said to shed moisture and would only need to wear one sock. It’s for a late October/nov hunt so warmth would actually be ok.
Which hollow socks did you get? I heard the “boot” hollow socks are about as thick as the darn tough mid weight. This will be for a late October hunt so I’m okay with a little thicker sock.
