    Lots of people are freeze drying at home now with the harvest right and other brand machines. I'm seeing various freeze dried home made meals at our local farmers markets. Maybe check online for people freeze drying meals in your area.

    Thank you. One of the things I like about the Urban Ruck vs the checkpoint is that the way the lid and latch are the pack is expandable for a little more room if needed.

    I really like my Tuff Possum haversack, I would still suggest butt pack first. HPG buttpack is super nice.

    Kifaru Shape Charge Discontinued?

    Thank you, I didn't know they stopped making the other colors as regular offerings. I was looking for a sherman pocket awhile back and was directed by kifaru customer service to black ovis who bought out the remaining stock of coyote and multifamily sherman pockets.

    Pack weight: Does anyone actually care?

    In my experience everyone thinks weight isn't a big deal when they try on a pack in the house. I've had buddies unload redundant items in a hurry after even a short test hike.

    Kifaru Shape Charge Discontinued?

    I'm also waiting for the Shape Charge to come back in stock. Does anyone know how the color availability works? RG seems to be the standard. I know they used to come in other colors and I'd prefer coyote or wolf.
