I might want to like it because I have a hunter (wood) version in 30-06 that has served me well the past 5 seasons for whitetail. I’ve had 2 Tikkas and they have been great rifles as well. The wild thread pitch is definitely a concern with the browning.
In my mind:
Tikka roughtech ember pros:
Stainless steel
Better aftermarket support
“Normal” thread pattern 5/8x24
Cons:
Have to sell factory stock and wait for new stock
Non flush magazine
1 lb heavier but will be fixed with new stock
Browning Pros:
Turnkey package and 1 lb lighter as is...

I had one in 300 blk out that I wish I wouldn't have got rid of. It was a lot of fun with sub sonics. At 16" with a suppressor, I could hold it with one hand to my side and it not touch the ground.
After handling both, I personally didn't like the fit/finish of the CVA and would lean towards the Bergara. I do have a CVA muzzle loader and do enjoy that rifle though.
I'm leaning towards the roughtech myself. Doing the math of barrel threading + muzzle comp on a standard TIkka alone gets you close to the roughtech price. Went to Cabelas and handled one and liked it overall.

I got a smoking deal (IMO) on a brand new Browning X-Bolt Pro for $1k all in. The...
