It's all going to depend on weather and location. We were there early October last year and had zero issues. As dry as it's predicted to be this year, that's likely to be a repeat.
It really comes down to budget and expectations. Lighter is always better in a mountain rifle, but ruggedness is extremely important. Nothing liking hiking in several miles only to drop or bang your gun and wonder whether it kept its zero. I love NF durability, but they can he heavy. Swarovski...
