    Processing knives

Victorinox fibrox 6 inch boning knife straight, semi stiff ( I think) Also the Outdoor Edge FieldBone is an excellent knife for the price, gets sharp and folds up. I skin and bone out the hanging meat with it alot. Very light weight and orange.

Chest rig experiences? FHF vs HPG

Personally, I wouldn't want my weapon exposed everytime i needed my binos, seems like a good way for it to fall out or casue an accident

Chest rig experiences? FHF vs HPG

I have the Original Kit Bag and the Recon. Tried couple seasons to get to work for bow hunting and just general wear. The draw is very, very slow, and kinda noisy (used it for pistol hunting deer). Carrying a pistols and binos never worked for me and I didn't want the bino pouch sticking out the...

    Ground hunting pressured whitetails

I broke out the leafy suit and sat in a couple blow downs. Deer movement was way off due to pressure and weather. Had a deer come up right behind me, when I was in a blowdown, but couldn't get the shot off. Sounded like an elephant leaving.

    Galaxy Ember?

Is the black hunter riser the same as some of the newer sages? I can not stand the new sage grip. Had an older one and sold it, then found this one, terrible.

    Treestand pack

Could also make your own out of a fleece blanket, through all the stuff in the middle, pit you balls in there, cinch it up and put the straps on it.

    Treestand pack

Roll up vacuum bag might work. Possibly a bit noisy, but no more than climbing the tree and all the movement your doing anyway. I've also used a GI surplus laundry bag. Put, golf ball, rubber ball or foam ball etc in the corners, tie a clove hitch on the top cinch and a slip not on the two...

    Ground hunting pressured whitetails

When I first started bow hunting I had some success from the ground just stringing some camo burlap on some 550 cord. Then moved to trestands and now a saddle. I had some really cool encounters from the ground and hope to try it again this year. Got a leafy suit and plan on using my saddle...

Frame Pack For Whitetail Treestand/Saddle Hunting

I got an Eberlestock X2 (fixed internal) for Christmas that will be my whitetail/saddle hunting pack this year ( unless it doesn't work out). I based that input from a ton or research here and a couple other sites. Strongly considered the SG Avail but the color offerings don't jive with my...
