    Nope, not skinny. Heavy v8 boats need a little more draft, but most sport jons advertise 3 inches of water, add the full uhmw (plastic) bottom and it provides more ability and protection

    From the research I have done the Yamaha is a power head rating, so a 25hp would be 17hp at the jet. Tohatsu and mercury compensate for the jet loss. For example, a 40hp is really 40hp. Both use a 60hp power head.
