Hunting whitetail in this, so all shots will be under 100 yd easy:
Might not get around to developing a load for my Tikka .308, 150gr Barnes TTSX shoots well off the shelf just in case when I watch over...
Enlisted in 2011 at 19, it's been a couple of years now since I've lived in their basement. I'm fortunate to live a few miles up the road from the farm these days. How long has that stick been up your ass? ;) Lighten up.
I don't think they're an issue for scouting and seeing what's around, but something rubs me the wrong way about people using them for real time information while they're actively hunting a property. I don't think a significant percentage of people do that, but for the ones who do I'm not a fan.
I think half of the time people are more likely to damage their bore than to do any good trying to break it in.
Run a few patches or pull a boresnake before you zero to get any factory gunk out then shoot it.
279->800ish.
Feel much better. Can get and keep erections. Better mood. Skinnyfat 220lbs -> lanky with some muscle 185lb.
Veterans affairs wouldn't make an exception because 250 is their cutoff so I pay out of pocket. Sucks but it's better than feeling like garbage all of the time.
Here's mine, not a TC but still a smol lil guy. CVA Scout V2 16.5" 300BO with a Resonator K.
The black center of the stickers are 1" from 50 yards with a PA 1-6 ACSS, cheap AAC 220 SMKs that were not subsonic from the 16.5 barrel.
Plan to use it for whitetail this fall. 110 TacTx with 18.5gr...
I'm happy you made it to the hospital for help, and beyond stoked that your Dad said he's proud of you. For me, dad's approval has always meant a lot (for good or bad reasons idk, but that's how it is).
Bubly Raspberry is my jam and Athletic Brewing Company makes an excellent NA IPA and Golden...
It's my first center-fire Tikka, it's so much more than I'm used to coming from Savage and other (adequate) but inexpensive options. I LOVE the look of the Ember but I thought it would be out of place hunting the woods here in SE Indiana. The deer care what color combos I choose you know 🙄 😂
Just snatched a .308 Roughtech from sportsman's the other day. Happy as can be. Beavertail, vertical grip, and sling will be here tomorrow then hopefully shooting a bit this weekend.
Sticking with hypoNC from my crossbow this year. Here's a doe from last year, exit side up can't find the entry photo for some reason.
A blind man could follow that trail.
