    Thanks for the input, really glad I posted the question here before buying one! I had looked at AG as well but I think 31 oz or so and price put them out. I like a thinner grip as well and Stock's seem to be not as "clubby" as some other high dollar prone style stocks.

    Sorry I did forget to say that I will be re-loading and have my eye on a 300 win mag T3x for a donor. I had not thought about necking down the 7 PRC, that does sound like something to look into. Will need to do some research, but would say brass for the 7 PRC would be harder to find than the 6.8...
