    Cooper 7mm mag and muzzle break

    Howdy all! I have a new to me copper (threaded barrel) 7mm rem mag. Does anyone recommend a muzzle brake for this thing? It seems like a waist to have a threaded barrel and not use it.

    And it was slightly scratched in transit 😑. Apparently the selling gun store packed this thing horribly, bolt loose in the package and scratched the barrel. What would yall do? These guns are damn hard to find.. what a bummer

    I shot 24 rounds today, Hornady custom sst 130 grain. The first shot was pretty good but then I had some pull moments. The final 4 shots were my tightest group (pictured) but I don’t consider myself too good of a shot and I haven’t pulled a trigger on a long rifle in years.

    I think in selling the ruger and getting the cooper, I will attain a more accurate rifle and a bigger load. The cooper seems like it is built better than the ruger.
