+1 on black ovis. I swapped out some of my FL pieces for them. Fit is better for me, more consistent cuts than FL and tall sizes. (I'm only 5'10" but I've got ape arms). I've been very pleased with them and their cheaper.
What hjg_wy said. The area you can draw may not meet all your criteria, but WY pronghorn is the perfect intro to the west. To keep it as such, I'd recommend hunting public land only. You'll learn more.

Newb here... Just got back to Denver after 6 days in CO15. As others have said- very warm (I hunted in a t-shirt at 9k on Monday afternoon). We saw a ton of young bucks, some acting rutty. Didn't see any mature bucks with does on winter range yet. Older bucks were still in their summer range...
