I had a floorless shelter last year. This year I have bought a new tent with a floor. When that wind and rain is blowing above tree line I want my body weight holding that tent down!!
I have always wanted a hilleberg but they don’t have a dealer in Canada. I ended up buying a fjallraven which is a very similar design and comes from Sweden also
I never used my bino much when I had in my back pack. Went to a bino harness (alaskan creations) works great use the my bino’s all the time now money well spent
I’m pretty much set to go on the copper spur UL 3 and I think I’m going to bite the bullet and spend a few more bucks for the foot print. Thanks for the help, Anymore thoughts on these 2 shelters would be helpful thanks
I use hanwag Yukons and trapper top. The taller trapper tops are great for steep heavy back pack hunts. They are not cheap but will last a very long time
Can’t go wrong with a western mountaineering bag. Big Agnes has some nice ones. I have been using a Serra design backcountry bed 700 it’s different then your normal mommy bag. Some hunting company selling bags also bit pretty pricey
