I recently bought a MEC 600 Jr.
Havent set it up yet as it's hunting season but should
have it rolling by next season.
Was planning on loading Bismuth but may try Tungsten.
The thing is, probably 50% of the shot were of various sizes and attached to another, forming a "glob"
effectively reducing the pellet count by 50%.
Not what I'm looking for.
Y'all buy whatever you want but I'll never buy anything with the Hevi brand on it.
Joined a lease last season for the first time in probably 30 years.
Ladder stands, food plots, box blinds, corn feeders, antler restrictions,
check in/out, pull the jawbone, record the data, work days, planting days, dos-donts, etc...
Made 17 trips, countless hrs. in stand. Fired one shot...
@58 I think I've entered the sportsmans stage, or something different stage?
Been a big game guy my whole life but I think I've had enough.
Got to the point that I really dont care to sit in a stand any longer.
Trying to do something different now. My son wants to try waterfowl so that
looks...
Bout to head out on probably my only deer hunt this season.
Going to do a week of muzzy deer/ fall turkey then come home
to duck hunt with my son the rest of the season.
In the near future I may be just fishing and maybe duck hunting.
Or maybe just fishing.
Seems old age comes in larger...
