I notice when I can push the LRX faster than 3100 fps (muzzle) it will shed the pedals within 250yards giving great performance just like the hammers but still expanding down to 1600fps...

    I have the same off center tip on my 7mm 145gr lrx, however I was able to get a 1/2 MOA load in my 7SAUM at 3190 so i let it slide. I have good luck with Barnes loaded in my 257wby, 300wby, 8mm rem mag in the past and have not had an issue with them yet.

    @JJ1179 if you are lucky and still have strelok it's just as easy to calibrate the reticle, gives exact yardages and projected wind hold. This is my reticle calibrated for my 264win shooting 156gr EOLs. Its also not hard to split the hold overs between hash marks and dots.
